Description:

Advanced use of the Low Level Cold Laser in the service of Rolfing® Structural Integration

SPONSOR: ERCHONIA Corporation

On April 16th, 17th and 18th there will be an advanced workshop in Scottsdale, Arizona regarding the advanced use of the Erchonia Low Level Cold Laser in the service of Rolfing/Structural Integration. It is by invitation only and will include comprehensive coverage of every question from every Rolfer™ and every discovery and use by every Rolfer. It will also cover the following subjects.

     • Detailed information about pre-session testing and evaluation.
     • Detailed information about pattern recognition, strategy and tactics.
     • Special segments on advanced cervical strategies, advanced shoulder strategies,
low back strategies and hip, legs and feet strategies as they relate to work within the
context of the principles of Rolfing.
     • Special focus on “gait” analysis and strategies. (Probably the single most important
underlying causal factor in malalignment. Failure to address this analysis and strategy
predisposes the client to never escaping the issue returning time and time again. We
feel that the principle of “wholeness” cannot be expressed in a ten series without
      correcting “gait” timing deficiencies.)
     • The role and use of the percussor and adjustor.
     • Use of the laser to help identify the relationship of brain, spine, organ, impingement
and emotion associated with every issue of malalignment.
     • Advanced and deeper muscle response testing as both integration tools and as
      deepest possible joint stabilizing strategies.
     • Relevant and new information regarding neurogenic inflammation and its place in our
      work.
     • Refined strategies for axial/appendicular, core/sleeve, and tonic/phasic structural
integration from the standing point of sessions 8 and 9 and advanced work.
     • Why some who have lasers want to sell their lasers and go back to another way of
      working on clients; lessons learned.
     • Languaging, client explanations.

There are approximately thirty Rolfers with lasers from our trainings thus far. Some have had an opportunity to work with others and advance their skill with the laser and some have not. This is a perfect opportunity to see what everyone is doing and how they are using their lasers. It is a perfect opportunity to take your laser use to a more significant place in your practice and benefit many more clients.

Jon and I have learned that the more specific you use the laser, the greater the results. We also believe that when the laser is used by a Rolfer it produces a result that maximizes the benefits of the laser. This requires an understanding of the topics mentioned above. We have also learned that not every Rolfer has the desire or inclination to work in the more technical strategies; either as a matter of personal preference or in the absence of results that justify the change in how we interact with clients with a laser. Just as there are “many ways to skin a cat” there are many ways to achieve satisfactory results in a Rolfing session; but we will explore the context of the laser in a tool bag full of other wonderful tools (CST, visceral, other energy work, etc).

It will be an exciting, hands-on workshop where our goal is that every participant leaves with an abundant sense of confidence about the maximum benefits that are available when you use a laser to its full capability in the service of Rolfing/Structural Integration. It will be three full days where you will give and get the work from every topic. It will be a busy time, but each of you will be able to get work that allows the personal embodiment of our use of the laser in our sessions. We hope you return home refreshed and excited.
Scottsdale (in Phoenix) is a beautiful location to visit in April. The desert flowers are in bloom, outdoor activities are endless and it is a perfect end to a long winter in the north. Jon Martine, Jerome Rerucha, Jeff Maitland and I sincerely hope you will attend. We promise it will be worth your time. Please don’t hesitate to call with questions.
