About the Instructors and Courses
INSTRUCTOR: Dr. Jerome Rerucha graduated from Life University in Marietta, Georgia. He is a practicing clinician and international speaker, teaching integration of advanced clinical treatment applications and competitive strength and conditioning principles. Prior to clinical practice he was a full time strength coach, competed in powerlifting for 14 years and won a Lifetime Drug Free World Title and Best Lifter award in 1999. Having the personal competitive lifting experience, coaching numerous types of athletes and elite strength athletes, provides additional benefits when teaching his dynamic clinical applications.
This Course: will cover chronic pain which is widespread in our population today, evidenced by our current opiod epidemic. Specific protocols and techniques for common conditions such as neck, shoulder and low back pain will be taught using traditional chiropractic and applying one of the newest technological advances in the healing arts, laser therapy. We will discuss statistics involving chronic pain conditions. Demonstrations of treating chronic heel and foot pain with laser therapy will be performed.
INSTRUCTOR: Dr. Scott Tauber is the COO of the American Institute of Personal Injury Physicians. He is a 1984 graduate of Life Chiropractic College and is both a DABCO and a Certified Professional Coder. In addition to over 20 years of clinical practice, Dr. Tauber has served as a med-legal expert witness and has been an independent consultant for automobile insurance carriers and state regulatory agencies. He is a frequent guest speaker at professional and med-legal conferences, state association events and professional schools and has been published in state and national journals.
This Course: will focus on personal injury documentation, care and management practices and principles and low level laser therapy integration. We will improve the provider’s knowledge of personal injury documentation and management. Dr. Tauber will assist the provider in establishing personal injury specific protocols. He will also assist the provider in identifying and correcting clinical errors and practice deficiencies.
