Most back pains can be managed and treated. Your spine depends on strong muscles, good spine alignment, increase flexibility, coordination, and improved posture. These pieces of the puzzle are needed for the patient to have a better functioning spine. The challenge is restoring spinal-muscle strength to properly support a weak back in a safe manner. In addition, weak backs need more than restoration of muscle strength. They also require increased flexibility, increased coordination, spinal alignment, proper posture and stabilization. The PASS System addresses all aspect of spinal rehabilitation to return the patient to an active lifestyle. A complete healthy spine is not achieved until all 4 steps of the PASS System have been implemented in a supervised rehabilitation program. We welcome symptomatic improvement but feeling better is not a true and accurate measurement of spinal function and improvement.
