In 2004, Galumbeck Plastic Surgery, located in Virginia Beach, Virginia, became the first cosmetic plastic surgery practice in southeastern Virginia to use the Erchonia Niera 4L Liposuction Laser in laser liposculpture procedures.
Since then, Dr. Matthew Galumbeck, a board certified plastic surgeon, has performed more than 1,000 separate laser liposculpture procedures to remove excess fat from breast, hip, throat, abdomen, arm, waist and hip areas.

Dr. Matthew Galumbeck is a board certified Plastic Surgeon. He is an assistant professor of plastic surgery at Eastern Virginia Medical School and is a national lecturer on new techniques in cosmetic plastic surgery.
Dr. Galumbeck received his undergraduate degree from the College of William and Mary. He received his medical degree from Duke University and was trained in general surgery at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio and in plastic surgery at Eastern Virginia Medical School.
