Dr. M.K. Murphy opened her chiropractic practice in June 1990. The current Health & Wellness Clinic provides a holistic approach to health that addresses every aspect of your well-being; along with the physical component, it is our philosophy that balance of the mind and spirit must be achieved if you are to have lifelong health and wellness.
After an 18 year career in medical radiology, Dr. Murphy attended Palmer Chiropractic College and graduated in June, 1988. She then obtained licensure in Pennsylvania and for two years practiced at the Pierce Chiropractic Clinic. In 1990 she became licensed in the state of Florida and relocated to the Orlando area. She started the Health & Wellness Clinic, where she is currently in practice. Dr. Murphy has attended multiple post graduate courses and seminars expanding her knowledge base throughout the years. Some of her certifications include Radiology, Applied Kinesiology, Addictionology, Auriculotherapy, Whiplash Injury and Brain Traumatology, Manipulation Under Anesthesia, Neuro Emotional Technique, Physical Therapy, SOT, Laser, Nutrition, Brimhall Wellness, as well as various adjusting techniques.
Her thirst for knowledge and overwhelming need to succeed in the wellness arena for the masses has motivated her to continue her quest over the years and into the future.
