I was being seen by a local ENT specialist in Muskegon as I had been experiencing hearing loss in my right ear over the last seven months. After many tests, the diagnosis was not very encouraging for improvement. In fact, I was considering the possibility of needing a hearing appliance for that ear. Personally, not being ready for that step, I wanted to explore other options. I receive monthly e-mail newsletters from Pathways to Health/Fruitport Chiropractic Center, and the November mailing offered a "free hearing screening" at the office, so I decided I would get a second opinion. After a hearing test, you recommended that I have a series of cold laser treatments, something that was unfamiliar to me and to my ENT doctor. Since it was noninvasive, I consented to the treatments. (through the Corrective Hearing Clinic located in the Pathways to Health center). The treatments were done in conjunction with Dr. Steve's office, and I was very pleased and encouraged to see improvement after the first series of treatments. With an additional series of treatments, I can honestly say that I no longer that the "fullness" that hindered my hearing, and I am even using my right ear when I talk on the telephone (as I had been limited to only using the telephone with my left ear). Since my appointment with you, I have come across other peole with similar hearing issues, and I don't hesitate to give them you name. Although my ENT doctor downplayed my results after your treatments, calling then "unremarkable," I could only show him the results of my hearing tests before and after the treatments which speak for itself, not to mention the fact that I could hear again!
