About the Speaker

Dr. Gregory Boco, a board certified podiatrist, obtained his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from Barry University in Miami, Florida, with a specialization in advanced reconstructive foot and ankle surgery.
He was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY and later moved to South Florida as a teenager. He received his undergraduate degree in Biology and pre-med from Florida Atlantic University before obtaining his doctorate degree. He completed an extensive three year residency in advanced reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, which included his involvement in mission work for the Yucatan Crippled Children’s Project. He was a member of numerous surgical teams, who successfully treated children with lower extremity deformities.
Dr. Boco is a competitive bodybuilder and member of the National Physique Committee (NPC). He is a former personal trainer with a special interest in sports injuries and biomechanics. During his time as a personal trainer, he began working with other athletes to help them recover from sports-related injuries. He developed an interest in the connection between the effects of foot and leg function on the biomechanics of the human body. His interest led to a deep desire to become a podiatric surgeon.
