Seminar Topics

  1. Differentiate and review the various classes of low-level lasers, and outline the therapeutic effects of each as appropriate dosages obtained through calculating joules.
  2. Discuss the Low-Level Laser Therapy wavelengths, the metabolic targets of various wavelengths, and the integration of wavelengths into health restoration.
  3. Devise strategies for obtaining biochemical markers paramount to healthy physiology, and create a plan of action for both clinician and patient to resolve health barriers.
  4. Incorporate hands-on approaches to assess mechanobiology and mechano-transduction and understand their roles in regulating cellular biochemistry, gene expression, and tissue
  5. Understand the physiological relationship between the cranial system, spine, and cerebrospinal fluid dispersion as they relate to neurodegenerative disease.
  6. Assess spinal and extremity dysfunction, determine the upper motor and lower motor neuron factors, and use a low-level laser to correct maladaptive movement patterns.
  7. Discuss differences in the Autonomic, Sympathetic, Parasympathetic, and Enteric Nervous Systems, and develop strategies to facilitate synchronization of these systems using Nutrition, circadian rhythms, movement, and low-level laser therapy.
  8. Identify molecular mediators in Gut-Brain Access syndromes, and develop clinical strategies, behavioral modifications, and nutritional therapies to reset physiology.
  9. Recognize environmental drivers of abnormalities in inflammatory and autoimmune diseases, and create protective strategies.
  10. Identify key indicators of brain imbalances, use low-level laser therapy to reduce aberrant biofeedback into the central nervous system, and utilize protective strategies for enhancing brain health and function.
  11. Understand the influential roles of Nutrition, supplementation, sleep hygiene, meditation, and “stacked therapies” to overcome the most challenging clinical conditions.
  12. Understand how lasers are not “experimental and new”, but supported by decades of research for multiple conditions
  13. Evaluate adding lasers can help you differentiate yourself from the other doctors around you, which helps you have better tools to succeed in the face of greater competition.
  14. Review the youth sports market in your area and become the go to doctor for local teams, ranging from youth sports to high school, college, and even pro.
  15. Demonstrate Step by step, hands on laser techniques to quickly and easily RE-CALIBRATE the nervous system to create an instant change in function. This technique is what really gets the patients excitedly telling all their friends and raving about you on social media.
  16. Apply instrument adjusting techniques to combine with your laser techniques for an even greater effect.
  17. Review case studies for each injury/condition.
  18. Summarize the Ancient Greeks to Modern Day to The Future: The history of light phototherapy, where it has come, and where the research is going, and how it impacts injury recovery.
  19. Discover how addition of low-level laser therapy can help differentiate your office from the other practices that are in your area
  20. Justify lab technique & know which blood tests are important to have and how to interpret them for optimal injury recovery and sports performance
  21. Summarize traumatic Brain Injuries and Neurodegeneration
  22. Complete protocol workshop for cervical and upper extremity injuries, lumbar spine and lower extremity injuries
  23. Calculate impact of recalibration and resetting the nervous system with the accelerate recovery and enhance performance
  24. Understand weight loss protocols and how this can have a global effect on your patient’s health
  25. Explain laser to your patients, and how to help a niche market that is greatly in need of help by working with the year-round travel team athletes, local sports teams, and weekend warriors

Dr. Brandon Brock is a clinician in Dallas Texas who holds a Doctorate in Family Nursing Practice from Duke University. He has returned back to Duke for continued trained and specialization in orthopedics and also has specialized fellowship training in stem cell technology and regenerative medicine. Dr. Brock also holds a Doctorate in Chiropractic and an undergraduate degree in anatomy. He has a Diplomate in Functional Neurology, Nutrition, Conventional Medicine, and Integrated Medicine as well. Dr. Brock is also a Global Clinical Research Scholar from Harvard Medical School with interests in secondary analysis, survey design and clinical trials. He has a past work experience of pediatrics and neurology and has not moved into a more family medicine and orthopedics role.

In Dallas Texas, he currently serves as a chief clinician at Foundation Physicians Group and Brock Integrative Medicine. He enjoys teaching and providing educational support to facilitate learning for multiple groups and agencies. This includes topics that range from nutrition, neurology, orthopedics and regenerative medicine to pharmacology and governmental policy.

There is a desire to continue into the world of academic leadership upon graduation at a large university while keeping a small practice that is part time. The main goals in the future include creating online lectures, didactic teaching and functioning in a collegiate atmosphere. The major areas of desired focus, is helping those with cardiac and vascular issues.

There are many professional goals desired but some include obtaining a professorship at some point and developing lab markers and entrepreneurial development of monitoring and measuring systems related to health, cardiac function and cardiac educational tools based upon a multitude of markers. Research goals include regression methodology through data to see correlations with various markers, symptoms, conditions and prevalence that will aid towards prognosis and treatment paradigms.

Dr. Brock received the most outstanding functional neurology teacher of the year from the ACA council of Neurology four years straight and two times from IAFNR (International Association of Functional Neurology and Rehabilitation). He also received the humanitarian award from IAFNR. Dr. Brock and is also the honorable recipient of the prestigious Living Legacy Award from Samford Universities Ida Moffett School Nursing in 2015. He has also been the spotlight student at Duke University and is on the Scientific Advisory Board for the Mindd Foundation, Vibrant Labs, and Xymogen Nutrition. His unique blend of clinical and teaching experience along with a background in medicine, chiropractic, neurology, orthopedics, regenerative medicine, and nutrition has created an integrated clinical background that has helped him treat difficult cases and offers comprehensive angles on education and clinical presentations. Dr. Brock is a participating partner and educator at BTB Health Systems, Functional

Neurology Seminars, SNA Technologies, and Brain Chat. He also works as an educator with Functional Medicine Meetings and Dr. Brock Lectures.

In my role of nursing I am really focused on patient education just as I am student education. Information, care, treatment paradigms fall into place with good education and clear communication. The environment and setting that this can be done in includes anything from a hospital, to private practice to events and supportive events about the chosen topic (cardiovascular system). Many ways of thinking can be processed through a system model of thinking which really focusses on the patient and their environment. In this situation, one can easily include the environmental stressors of genetic, inflammatory, structural, and inflammatory mechanisms that surround cardiac and vessel disease. This spans from the understanding of labs to the education, treatment, dietary, and exercises paradigms used to optimize dysfunction and danger in the realm of pathophysiology. Optimum outcomes ultimately include an empowered patient that is educated and has optimized their system at the highest level in which their individual physiology will allow them to have a higher level of satisfaction of overall wellness and function. Determining the cause of cardiac pathology, outlining treatment programs, changing the environment of a patient to be conducive to overall integrated health as well as offering education and a follow through with care is very relevant. A structured system for patient safety and progression under a systems model is fitting in this way of thinking and project undertaking. Following a theoretical application can easily create a linear form of methodology to establish quality are that is repetitive, monitored and checked for patient safety or improvement.
