Chiropractic

Precision laser therapy for modern chiropractic care.

Chiropractic is built on restoring function — not masking symptoms. This is conservative care, refined.

Erchonia laser systems are designed to support that philosophy. Through non-thermal, wavelength-specific laser technology, our platforms integrate into chiropractic workflows — supporting musculoskeletal recovery and neuromuscular balance without pharmaceuticals or invasive intervention. Adjustments restore motion. Laser therapy supports the tissues that sustain it.

One Treatment Challenge

See it in one visit.

Real patients, one session, on camera. No editing tricks — just range of motion before and after.

A natural extension of conservative care

Restore motion. Support the tissue.

Chiropractic has always been centered on restoring function without drugs or surgery.

Non-thermal laser therapy integrates directly into that philosophy — working at the cellular level — energy and signaling — while preserving the integrity of conservative care. Erchonia systems are designed to complement spinal adjustments, extremity work and rehab protocols, not replace them. Nothing is heated, cut or numbed; nothing is prescribed.

The market

Why the market demands non-invasive pain solutions

The demand shift is clear. The question is who captures it.

01

Low back pain

Musculoskeletal pain is one of the most common reasons patients seek medical care — and low back pain alone is among the leading causes of disability worldwide. It is also the complaint your schedule is built around.

02

Neck and extremities

Neck pain and extremity dysfunction drive millions of visits annually. Every one of them is a patient who already chose a conservative provider.

03

The demand shift

Patients are increasingly seeking alternatives to opioids, injections and surgical intervention. They want safe, non-invasive, drug-free care — and chiropractors are uniquely positioned to lead that transition. Laser therapy strengthens the position.

The mechanism

How photobiomodulation works

Photochemistry, not heat. Nothing is burned, cut or numbed.

01

Absorption

Absorption

Photons are absorbed by chromophores in the cell — chiefly cytochrome c oxidase in the mitochondria. Absorption is wavelength-specific, which is why Erchonia engineers discrete violet (405 nm), green (520 nm) and red (635 nm) diodes rather than broad-spectrum output.

02

Energy production

Energy production

Absorption drives ATP synthesis upward — the treated cell has more energy available for signaling and regulation.

03

Cell signaling

Signaling

The same event releases nitric oxide and a brief pulse of reactive oxygen species — signaling molecules that shift gene expression in the treated cell.

04

A response beyond the beam

A response beyond the beam

These signaling mediators move beyond the treatment site, so measured effects aren’t confined to the spot under the laser — a systemic response to a local, precisely placed stimulus.

A small, precise input and a response the body generates itself — the same reasoning behind every adjustment you deliver.

Why Erchonia

Why Erchonia, specifically

High-energy, not high-powered. And the category’s first clearance.

Power counts photons. Energy is what each photon can do.

Power counts photons. Energy is what each photon can do.

Wattage measures photon quantity — and in tissue, excess quantity becomes heat. A photon’s energy is set by wavelength: Erchonia’s 405 nm violet carries ~3.06 eV, over one and a half times the ~1.95 eV of 635 nm red. Photochemistry at milliwatt power, where the biphasic dose principle is respected by design. Class IV devices marketed on wattage deliver enormous photon quantities whose individual photons carry less energy; the dominant effect is thermal.

Erchonia earned the first FDA market clearance ever granted for low-level laser therapy — and has built 25 clearances since 1996 on double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled trials, including chronic low back pain and plantar fasciitis. When a patient, a parent or a referring MD asks why you trust it, you can hand them the trial design.

Handheld systems move room to room with you; stand-mounted scanners run hands-free while you adjust the next patient. Sessions are short enough to sit inside the visit you already booked.

How to implement it

Three ways clinics add laser

Laser integration does not require a practice overhaul.

A handheld Erchonia laser applied to a patient’s forearm on the table

01

Adjunctive, same-visit pain protocols

Applied after the spinal or extremity adjustment, within the cleared pain indications, on the same table in the same visit — a minute or two that patients notice and remember.

02

Standalone pain protocols

Dedicated laser sessions for acute or chronic pain presentations — especially the non-responders who have run out of conservative options and are one visit away from an injection referral.

03

Care-plan integration

Bundled into structured treatment plans to increase perceived value and enhance compliance. Hands-free scanner protocols mean the plan runs without consuming your hands.

The ROI of adding laser therapy

When implemented correctly, laser therapy impacts revenue in three primary ways.

Increased visit value

Increased visit value

Laser sessions integrate into care plans, increasing per-visit revenue without increasing provider strain. No applicator cards, no consumable kits — the margin on every session stays in the practice.

Improved case acceptance

Improved case acceptance

Patients are more likely to commit to conservative plans when non-invasive technology is included. “Drug-free, needle-free, cleared on placebo-controlled trials” is an easier yes than “come back twelve times.”

Retention and reactivation

Retention & reactivation

Laser therapy gives patients an additional reason to return — especially those hesitant about long-term manual care alone — and a reason to bring back the ones who drifted.

From the profession

What chiropractors say

Verified reviews, in their words.

“I really appreciate the protocols and cutting-edge information at the Erchonia seminars. The information, the research, and the technology are so encouraging and honestly “mind-blowing,” and protocols to start in the office Monday morning.”

Dina Rabo, D.C. · Trustpilot

“I have utilized Erchonia Lasers in my Chiro practice since 2009. They have CHANGED my patients overall health and ability to fight sicknesses and to heal faster! Amazing seminars and instruction, Erchonia has always been in the top for research! Highly recommend!”

Dr. Deb D, D.C. · Trustpilot

“I have integrated both therapeutic and body-contouring lasers into my practice for several years. The ease of use coupled with great results generally makes for a terrific experience. Their support staff and instructors provide a great foundation for implementation of this highly effective modality into most types of practices. The products will give your clients great results and will add to your bottom line.”

Dr. Glenn Jaffe, D.C. · Trustpilot

“I first heard about Erchonia while studying for board reviews. One of the smartest docs I’ve ever met, Dr. John Donofrio, mentioned that he used Erchonia lasers for a wide array of health issues. Since then, Erchonia has continued to pilot many of the studies proving the safety and efficacy of low-level lasers. We’ve implemented these amazing devices into our functional medicine and neurology protocols and feel confident knowing that what we’re using will help deliver superior outcomes without putting the patient at risk like with other high-power lasers. Get an Erchonia laser; great company, great research, and great lasers!”
