Base Station
Base Station · Handheld docking station
Three lasers. One station.
A docking station that charges up to three independent Erchonia handhelds wirelessly at the same time — so the laser is always ready, and never the bottleneck.
The Erchonia Base Station and the lasers docked in it make up an innovative solution to patient care. The handheld nature of the devices provides easy portability between rooms and offices, while the intuitive touch-screen design and easy programmability ensure smooth administration. Large or busy facilities often need more than one laser to treat patients; the Base Station lets a practice run a fleet of handhelds with the convenience of a single station to store and charge them — and it opens the door to in-home rental programs.

How it works
Dock it. Charge it. Grab it.
Designed with ergonomics and space-saving in mind — and with portability, so the laser goes wherever the patient is.
The Base Station is a docking station that lets up to three independent handheld devices charge wirelessly at the same time. Each handheld runs on its own 3.7 VDC rechargeable lithium-ion polymer battery, so a laser lifted off the station is ready for a full day of treatment rooms; set it back down and it charges without a cable. Unlike traditional surgery or medication, low-level laser therapy promotes natural healing within the body using non-invasive levels of light, with no known side effects, no pain and no downtime — and having a fleet of devices by your side means you and your team can treat multiple patients, or multiple problem areas, at once. Less time waiting for a device to become available; more time on the care that matters.

| Base Station | What it means in the room | |
|---|---|---|
| Capacity | Up to three independent handheld lasers | Mix GVL, EVRL and XLR8 to match the caseload — one station serves them all |
| Charging | Wireless, simultaneous | No cables, no charging order; every laser is topped up between visits |
| Handheld power | 3.7 VDC rechargeable lithium-ion polymer battery | A laser off the dock runs the room without a cord |
| Enclosure | Fire-rated high-impact PC/ABS and machined billet aluminum | Built for the clinic floor, the sports bag and the rental kit |
Having a fleet of laser devices by your side improves workflow and treatment efficiency by enabling you and your team to treat multiple patients or multiple problem areas at once.
Why clinics choose it
Why clinics add the Base Station
The benefits of three devices that can be customized to fit your practice — in one convenient station.
01
Throughput
One handheld serves one room. Three handhelds on one station let a busy practice run laser protocols in parallel — a treatment plan for every patient who needs one, without anyone waiting for the device.
02
Portability and rentals
The handhelds travel between rooms, offices and the sideline, and the station stages them for the day. It is also the backbone of an in-home rental program: send a laser home with the patient, dock it when it comes back.
03
Simple administration
Every docked laser shares the same intuitive touch-screen and easy programmability, so staff learn one workflow across the whole fleet.

Where it works
Where the Base Station works
Anywhere one laser is not enough.
01
Multi-room clinics
Chiropractic, PM&R and integrative practices running laser in more than one room at a time — one station charges the fleet overnight and stages it in the morning.
02
Sports and performance
Training rooms treat a line of athletes, not one patient. Three handhelds, three staff, three athletes — and every laser back on the dock between sessions.
03
In-home rental programs
A handheld that goes home with the patient is a second revenue line for the practice. The Base Station keeps the rental fleet charged, staged and accounted for.

Project revenue impact, break-even timelines and per-visit value increases from your own clinic volume.

Increased visit value
Laser sessions integrate into care plans, increasing per-visit revenue without increasing provider strain.

Improved case acceptance
Patients commit to conservative plans more readily when non-invasive technology is included.

Retention and reactivation
A reason to return — and a reason to bring back the patients who drifted.
The line
The handhelds that dock in it
Any combination of three — matched to the conditions your clinic treats.

GVL
520 nm green + 405 nm violet · handheld
The most energetic pairing in the line — the first and only FDA-cleared green/violet laser.

EVRL
405 nm violet + 635 nm red · handheld
Red and violet in one instrument — the workhorse handheld with violet’s anti-microbial properties alongside its therapeutic role.

XLR8
Dual 635 nm red · handheld · entry level
The proven 635 nm foundation — two red diodes in a handheld built for the treatment room.
