Personal Profile
Before becoming a licensed chiropractor, Dr. Jim Naccarato completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology at Brigham Young University and began pursuing a PhD in Clinical Psychology at the University of Utah; however, the field of psychology did not yet offer what he was seeking: a PhD in positive, spiritually centered psychology. So, Dr. Jim paused his education in Psychology for the time, found a new passion for chiropractic care, and received his DC degree in 1985.
Once licensed, Dr. Jim Naccarato started Naccarato Chiropractic in San Luis Obispo, California and, only a few years later, became co-owner and manager of a multi-doctor chiropractic clinic. Although Dr. Naccarato experienced success with his own practice, he noticed that many highly competent chiropractors had difficulty building their businesses and wanted to provide support. Out of that desire, he founded The Naccarato Leadership Company in 1990, began speaking at state association meetings, teaching his own seminars, and offering personal coaching.
After years of providing personal coaching, Dr. Naccarato had the necessary knowledge to develop the psychology program that he was looking for in graduate school. Benefitting from his education and – at that point – 34,000 hours of personal coaching experience, Dr. Naccarato undertook a 400-page dissertation on positive, spiritually centered psychology; the project earned him a PhD and now serves as the foundation of his coaching programs and seminars.
Today, Dr. Jim Naccarato has coached doctors for over 36 years and is prepared to help grow your practice - no matter its current state; he is equipped with accredited research, legitimate psychology, and more than 72,000 hours of personal coaching experience. His commitment is to help doctors build successful practices so they can get on with the other important things in life: God, family, and friends.
Dr. Jim married Kim Heath Naccarato in 1981, and since then there have been several additions to the family. They now have six children, four daughters-in-law, and ten grandchildren and love watching the family expand still.
